Solusel, subsidiary of the Eiffage group, founded on the 16th November 1950 has as activities the exploration of a granite quarry called Pedreira da Madalena (since 1971) and on the same place, a landfill of inert waste (since September 1996), corresponding this way to the implementation of the Quarry Recovery Landscape Restoration Plan.
