Interregional developing capacities about strategic resources in Metallic Mining

Within the framework of an Interreg Program between Portugal and Spain, the Project POCTEP-ESMIMET is ongoing. 

The project's main objetive is to generate a network of scientific-technical knowledge and R & D & I on the developing metal mining capacities on the border region between the three regions - North, Central Portugal and Castilla and León.

The portuguese participants are the Institute of Earth Sciences - Pólo Porto - of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and the IPN – Pedro Nunes Institute, in Coimbra.

The configuration of the network is intended primarily for possible future applications regarding the metallic mineral resources, regarding European projects, therefore, the entities that develop, or participate in any way in R & D activities, in metal mining at the North and Center of Portugal are invited (including technological centers, universities, companies and public administrations) to register on the website and follow this project.
