Respirable crystalline silica Directive (EU) 2017/2398

On 27 December, the (EU) Directive 2017/2398 of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 12 December 2017 amending 2004/37/Policy was published in the official journal of the European Union-DOUE. EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work.
As previously announced, was included in annex I to Directive 2004/37/EC, work involving exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust generated in a worker process and a limit value of dust was established respirable crystalline silica ( respirable fraction) of 0.1 mg/m3.
