CASA DA MÚSICA HOSTED THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF NATURAL STONE
Casa da Música, in
Porto, hosted on May 12th, the 3rd edition of the International
Conference of Natural Stone, promoted by ANIET - National Association of the Extractive and Manufacturing
Industry under the project
Portuguese Stone - The Natural Path, co-financed by Compete 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European
Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
Presenting a range of
important national and international speakers, the conference had two panels
that brought together a set of experts in the Portuguese Natural Stone sector.
The elegance,
solidity, unique features, and natural qualities of beauty make the Portuguese
Natural Stone the material of choice in its application in elements of
architecture, design, and art.
The event was attended
by national and international specifiers and architects from 12 countries (United
States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Latvia,
Egypt, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates), entrepreneurs in the extractive and manufacturing
sector, among others.
It was clear that the
path of the Portuguese Stone has left its mark and it is difficult to find a
space in Europe or in the world that does not have the presence of the
Portuguese Natural Stone.
