In a joint organization of the Espinho city hall, UniNorte, Cooperativa dos Pedreiros Portuenses and the consulate of Guiné Bissau in Espinho, it took place on the 25^th of April, in Espinho, under the name of The Beginning Conference, the launching of Granifair – Granite’s International Faire, which will take place in 2018.

Under the strategy defined for the promotion and the sustainable development of the mainland of the county of Espinho, it will take place on the second quarter of 2018, the 1^st edition of GRanifair- Granite’s International Faire. This way, the organization of the event wants this Conference to be a reference in the approach of the granite with focus on innovation, technology, knowledge, networking and business.

The Beginning Conference, named this way, because it gives the tone to the beginning of GRANIFAIR intended to give frame the granite, as a natural material, which assumes a millenarian relation in our lives and in the construction of the territory over the years.

ANIET was present in this event with a presentation about the Granite sector, since extraction to manufacturing, focusing the importance of granite as a Portuguese natural resource, with all its diversity, uses, and qualities in works of international reference.
