On 7, 8 and 9 October, Porto will host the World Blasting Innovators event, of which ANIET is a partner.

World Blasting Innovators (WBI) is a movement of engineers from the extractive industry, with a particular focus on drilling and blasting activities.

This will be the first meeting of this technical community whose mission is to unite professionals from this sector to discuss topics related to innovation, sustainability and scientific development of this activity.

The event will take place in the Alfândega do Porto building, with space for exhibitors and a conference area, and aims to innovate in the way knowledge is shared. The technical sessions will be interactive, allowing you to get involved with the exhibitors to build and share experiences.

Concepts such as "design thinking", "critical thinking" and "cross-collaboration" will be explored at the event.

On the first day there will be a "Quarry Open Day", in partnership with dstgroup, with practical technical sessions on applying the latest technologies. The following topics will be presented and discussed: Surveying with LiDAR technology, Autonomous drilling, Drilling deviation control, Particle size monitoring, among others!
